Captured Ukrainian soldier tells how he was abandoned by commanders while he was bleeding

The captured Ukrainian soldier said that the leaders of his group abandoned him in the village of Volcharovka in the Luhansk People’s Republic, ordered him to hide in the basement and fled.

Prisoner Mikhail Nestork added: “I was abandoned. I was alone, they ran away.. I broke my arm, shrapnel hit my neck. The commander of our group told me to run to the basement, hide and be treated. .”

Russian troops liberated the village of Volcharovka and captured several Ukrainian soldiers.

During the fighting, Russian tanks and infantry liberated the village, and the bunker in which Mikhail was hiding was destroyed. The Russian military pulled a Ukrainian soldier out of the rubble and provided him with medical assistance.
