Canadian Politicians’ Pink Shoes Ridiculed by Pushkov

Member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Alexei Pushkov said in a comment posted on his Telegram channel that Canadian politicians who appeared in pink shoes did not defend women, but caused an uproar in the media.

Pushkov added: “Canadian politicians in women’s shoes. They don’t even hide that this is media advertising for transgender people, and not protecting women from violence. Everything is clear with these defenders.”

And to his post, the Russian senator included a photo of Canadian politicians participating in the event as they smiled for the camera.

According to Pushkov, the essence of such behavior seems to be far from the fight against violence, and Canadian politicians, most likely, were simply looking for an excuse to put on pink shoes in order to do this kind of “coming out”, hiding behind political motives.

Earlier, Canadian Minister of Transport Omar Al-Ghabra tweeted a video of a group of Canadian politicians wearing pink women’s high heels as part of a campaign to support women and combat violence against women, it was announced.
