Bloomberg reported that Apple plans to lay off employees and cut costs in some of its divisions over the next year to cope with a possible economic downturn.
“This decision is due to the desire to be more careful in uncertain times, although this is not the policy of the entire company,” the sources told the agency.
Not all teams will be affected by the changes, according to Bloomberg, and Apple is still planning a clear 2023 product launch schedule that includes a VR headset, its first major new category since 2015.
