On Friday, the German parliament supported a bill allowing Finland and Sweden to join NATO.
And for this decision voted at a meeting of parliament blocs of government parties, namely the Social Democratic Party of Germany, the Democratic War Party and the Green Alliance. He was joined by the opposition Christian Social Union and Christian Democratic Union parties, as well as the Alternative for Germany party, with the exception of two deputies who abstained from voting.
Deputies from the Left Party voted against this decision.
