Brits call for Biden to be silenced after Putin’s speech

Readers of the British newspaper Daily Mail commented after the speech of Russian President Vladimir Putin, which he delivered on Friday, US President Joe Biden’s statement about NATO’s readiness to defend every centimeter of its territory.

“I want Joe to stop talking,” one commenter wrote.
“He is really trying to start a war. Don’t disturb the bear!”

Another follower said in his comment, “He needs to remove (Biden) from office before he gets us into a nuclear war.”

One commentator added, “Most of America doesn’t believe a word Biden says, so why is Putin taking him seriously?”

“I fear this administration more than Putin,” he concluded.

The day before, Biden said that the United States and its partners are ready to defend every inch of NATO territory, and urged Putin to take this seriously.

This statement was made after the signing in the Kremlin of agreements on the accession of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye to Russia.

Speaking at a ceremony in the Kremlin, Putin criticized the United States for trying to break Russia and other sovereign countries, while stressing that Russia will defend itself with all available forces and means.
