British Fighter Jets Accompany Russian Planes out of Estonian Airspace

The British Royal Air Force announced that British Typhoon fighters took off on Wednesday evening to escort Russian aircraft into Estonian airspace.

The British Air Force indicated that a Russian Il-20 aircraft and two other Su-27 aircraft flew close to NATO airspace.

British forces accused the Russian planes of “violating international rules” because, according to the British side, they did not contact the authorities responsible for flight data in the region.

The Russian Ministry of Defense did not give an official comment on this matter, but always indicates that all Russian aviation flights are carried out in accordance with all international rules and laws.
