Mikhail Bogdanov, Special Representative of the President of Russia in the Middle East and Africa, discussed with Syrian Ambassador to Moscow Riad Haddad the latest developments in the Syrian arena and issues of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
“During the conversation, a tacit exchange of views took place on the development of the situation in and around Syria, with an emphasis on the tasks and measures for a comprehensive settlement in Syria,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
They also discussed ways to expand cooperation between the two countries.
