"bloomberg": "NATO" Considering the possibility of participating in hostilities outside the countries of the alliance

Bloomberg, citing an informed source, reported that NATO defense ministers may sign a plan for participation in hostilities outside member countries.

An informed source in the alliance said: “NATO Allies will be encouraged to invest in what is needed for collective defence, including heavy weapons. They will also be encouraged to strengthen their air and missile defenses.”

He pointed out that the secret command would consider ways for the simultaneous participation of NATO members in hostilities, including outside the area of responsibility provided for in Article 5 of the Alliance’s Collective Defense Charter.

It is expected that the importance of increasing investment in digital modernization and the need for an integrated use of data received from the military will be emphasized.
