Billions of Dollars Increase. Saudi Export Value Announcement

Saudi Arabia’s General Statistics Office released the Kingdom’s October 2022 International Trade Bulletin, revealing the value of exports of goods and oil over this period.

The General Department of Statistics indicated that the value of exports of goods to the Kingdom during this period (October) was 121 billion rials (about $32.18 billion) compared to 106 billion rials in October 2021, an increase of 15 billion rials (3.99 billion dollars), by 14.2 percent.

The value of oil exports in October 2022 was 96 billion rials ($25.53 billion), up from 82 billion rials in October 2021, an increase of 14 billion rials (3.72 billion dollars), by 17.1%.

The results of the bulletin showed that the value of non-oil exports (including re-exports) in October 2022 was 25 billion rials ($6.65 billion), compared to 24 billion rials in October 2021. an increase of one billion rials (about $265 million) and 4.4 percent.

The value of the Kingdom’s imports of goods in October 2022 was 67 billion rials ($17.82 billion), compared to 46 billion rials in October 2021, an increase of 21 billion rials ($5.58 billion), or 45.7%.

It is worth noting that the General Statistical Office is the only official statistical guide for statistical data and information in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
