US President Joe Biden has announced that the United States will continue to work with allies in Europe to try to cap the price of Russian oil.

Biden’s comments came in a written statement released by the White House press office on Wednesday, as U.S. inflation reached record levels after it recorded a 9.1% rise in June, that is, it reached its maximum. since November 1981.

Biden stressed that fighting inflation is “a top priority,” explaining that “Above all, I will continue to do everything in my power to drive down gas prices. I will continue the historic release of oil from our strategic reserves.”
