Speaking at a trilateral meeting between South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Wednesday, U.S. Chief of Staff Joe Biden said, “Our trilateral cooperation, in my view, is the key to achieving our common goal. , including the complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, as well as ensuring the freedom and openness of the Indo-Pacific region.

“We remain deeply concerned about the ongoing escalation (development) by North Korea of ​​ballistic missiles and tests, as well as the possible conduct of nuclear tests,” Biden added.

Biden’s talks were held with the leaders of South Korea and Japan as part of the NATO summit in the Spanish capital.
