Dr. Kevin O’Connor, US President Joe Biden’s physician, announced that the president tested positive for the coronavirus for the sixth day in a row, but Biden’s condition was “very good.”
In a statement released by the White House on Thursday, the doctor said: “The President is doing very well today. He still has occasional coughs, but his condition is improving.”
He added that Biden’s pulse, blood pressure, breathing and oxygen levels are normal and his lungs are “clear”.
Biden will remain in home isolation at the White House until the negative results of his coronavirus test are released.
Notably, Biden went into quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19 on July 21, and after the lockdown period ended, he was re-infected with the virus on Saturday.
