Biden: I won’t be disappointed if I run against Trump again

US President Joe Biden said he would not be disappointed if a presidential race began between him and former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

In a statement to Israel’s Channel 12, Biden said, “I don’t expect. But I won’t be disappointed,” adding, “The only thing I know about American politics and politics in particular is that it’s impossible to predict what will happen. will happen.”

He noted that while half of his presidential term has not passed, but “I hope that the Republican Party will return to normal life and this is not the Make America Great Again party (Trump’s campaign slogan).”

On the other hand, in response to a question about whether he would work with Israeli opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu if he was elected prime minister again, Biden said: “Israel is a democracy and we are committed to the state, not the individual. leader,” adding, “Bibi and me (nickname Netanyahu). We’ve known each other for almost 40 years, and we know where we agree and where we don’t. Whoever the leader is, I will work with him.”
