Benzema’s former agent releases new files on his World Cup injury

Karim Jaziri, the former agent of French star Karim Benzema, has caused even more controversy over the Real Madrid striker’s crisis with France coach Didier Deschamps during the 2022 World Cup.

Al-Jaziri posted a video clip on his social media Twitter account related to Benzema’s signed medical clearance, stressing that he had consulted with three specialists who assured him that the player would naturally be able to compete with France during the World Cup.

Benzema returned to Madrid ahead of the start of France’s 2022 World Cup opener against Australia and there was some speculation that he could return to the final after a friendly for Real Madrid.

However, many reports indicated that Benzema turned down the opportunity to return to Qatar after the dispute with Deschamps and announced his retirement from international football after the end of the World Cup.

Al-Jaziri released a video of Benzema’s X-rays at Aspetar Hospital in Qatar, which led to his expulsion.

Benzema’s agent wrote commenting on the video saying, “I posted this here, but before doing so, I consulted with three specialists who confirmed that Benzema could have been in shape from the sixteenth round and sitting on the bench.”
