Belarus says it has received signals from the West about cooperation with it

Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Galavchenko said that Minsk is receiving signals from Western countries about their readiness to cooperate with Belarus.

Galavchenko said in a statement to Belarusian TV channel ONT: “I think there will be some vigilance in the West, and on top of that there are many signs of willingness to work with us.”

He added that over the past six months, “the value of Belarus’ exports to unfriendly countries amounted to $3.5 billion.”

He pointed out that “the sanctions imposed on Russia and Belarus are having unpleasant consequences for those who impose them”, and that “Europe is preparing for the hardest winter.”
