Eduard Basurin, a representative of the DPR forces, expressed confidence that the entire Donbass would be liberated this year.
Basurin added in a TV interview: “We have made some progress, and in the future – and we will not talk about the exact timing here – but the liberation of the lands of Donbass will be completed this year.”
It is noteworthy that on February 24, Russia launched a special operation on the territory of Ukraine. President Vladimir Putin called its goal – to protect people who for eight years have been subjected to “intimidation and genocide by the Kyiv regime. For this, a process of denazification and disarmament must be carried out in Ukraine.”
