Barcelona make tempting offer for Rafinha

Barcelona are close to signing a contract with the English club Leeds United, the Brazilian international Rafinha, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Romano wrote on his Twitter account: “Barcelona have finally made a formal offer to include Rafinha and Leeds are expected to agree to it.”

“The offer includes a fixed amount of 58 million euros, and this amount increases with variables up to 68 million. The deal is in its final stages,” he added.

“All parties are waiting for Barcelona to be able and ready to put Rafinha on their roster and contracts to be signed,” Romano concluded.

Leeds United have officially confirmed that Rafinha will not be part of the team that travels to Australia in pre-season, pending his departure to another team.

It is worth noting that Rafinha played 36 games for Leeds last season, scoring 11 goals and scoring 3. The Brazilian has been at Leeds since the summer of 2020, when he moved to the team from Rennes for 19 million euros.
