"Baikar" Turkey supplies Lithuania with a march "Bayraktar" take to Ukraine

The Turkish company Baykar for Defense Industries donated the Bayraktar TB2 drone to Lithuania for its delivery to Ukraine.

And recently, a popular campaign was organized in Lithuania to buy the Bayraktar march in order to donate it to Ukraine, where 6 million euros were collected in just 3 days.

Subsequently, the Turkish company announced that it would offer the Bayraktar TB2 procession to Lithuania free of charge.

The handover ceremony took place at the Siauliai Air Base with the participation of Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas, Ukrainian Ambassador to Lithuania Petro Best and Baykar Director Haluk Bayraktar.

The director of the Turkish company, in a statement to the Lives TV channel that organized the action, expressed “great gratitude for the participation of hundreds of thousands of Lithuanians in the charity event to buy a march for Ukraine.”

He added that “after that, the company decided to show solidarity with the Lithuanian People’s Campaign and donate a march to it.”

It is noteworthy that the Russian Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system shot down several Turkish Bayraktar aircraft belonging to Kyiv during a special operation.
