Vladimir Rogov, a member of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporizhia region, said that up to 1.5 million tons of grain were collected in silos in the liberated part of the region.
Rogov said that the council is receiving requests from farmers to allow grain export through the port of Berdyansk.
He added: “Up to one and a half million tons of grain have been harvested. These are confirmed stocks of grain, which are located in granaries and elevators. This includes grain that is returned directly to farmers and private grain producers. products, but we start now. When accepting orders (for shipment through the port of Berdyansk), since everything is going well, an export method has been established. Now it will be more flexible, faster and cheaper for manufacturers.”
He stressed that the delivery of grain by sea is much more profitable for the producer than the use of rail and road transport.
“Everyone needs salaries, fertilizers, seeds – all this can be obtained by selling the old crop,” Rogoff said.
