World No. 6 Russian Andrey Rublev returned from afar, saving two decisive goals before victory after a marathon match against Dane Holger Rohne in the Australian Open’s final prize tournament.
After more than three and a half hours in a battle between the two former ranks in first place among juniors, Rublev’s fist bounced off the net and landed inches from the 19-year-old Ronne’s stadium ranked tenth in the world, so Rublev fell to the ground celebrating the victory, 6-3 , 3-6, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6.
