At the age of 15, Arsenal break the English Premier League record from Liverpool.

Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri became the youngest player to feature in the history of the English Premier League following his 3-0 win against hosts Brentford on Sunday.

Ethan Nwaneri came into the field in extra time in Arsenal’s 3-0 match against hosts Brentford on Matchday 8 of the Premier League, replacing Portuguese colleague Fabio Vieira to score his first goal for Arsenal . .

Nwaneri, at the age of 15 years and 181 days, became the youngest player to feature in a match in English Premier League history, surpassing the previous record by Liverpool player Herve Elliott, who first appeared with the Reds in the Premier League when he was 16 years and 30 days.

Ethan Nwaneri also became the first player born in 2007 to also compete in any of the five major European leagues.
