A series of shootings in central Florida have killed three people, including a 9-year-old girl and a journalist, according to police, who said they arrested a suspect.
The shooting took place in Orange County, Florida, within hours on Wednesday.
In the first shooting, which occurred around 11 a.m., a woman in her 20s was killed after a suspect shot her while they were in the same car, according to Orange County Sheriff John Mina.
Around 4:00 pm, as newsgroups were about to report the murder in the morning, the same suspect returned to the scene and shot and killed two journalists, a reporter and a photographer, one of whom later died.
The suspect allegedly entered a neighboring house and shot the woman and her 9-year-old daughter.
The suspect, 19-year-old Keith Melvin Moses, was arrested and charged with murder, and Mina said he expected charges from other shootings as well.
Mina said that Moussa “has a long criminal history, including accusations of using weapons and severe beatings.”
