Leandro Trossar scored Arsenal’s goal in the 66th minute and Evan Toni equalized for Brentford in the 74th minute.
The draw lifted Arsenal’s balance sheet to 51 points, 6 points short of Manchester City, who take on Aston Villa tomorrow, Sunday.
Arsenal’s draw came after a last-round loss to Everton with an unanswered goal, and it faces Manchester City in the next round.
