Shares of the Russian oil company Rosneft jumped more than 6% today, Friday, after the company’s shareholders at their meeting agreed on a record dividend for 2021.
By 10:14 Moscow time, Rosneft shares rose by 5.16% to 380.95 rubles, and before that, shares had risen in price by about 6% at the beginning of trading.
On the Moscow Exchange, the stock index fell today, and its index of shares denominated in MICEX rubles fell by 0.44% to 2196.5 points.
The index of shares denominated in dollars, RTS, fell by 2.61% to 1309.4 points, according to the Moscow Exchange.
