The Armenian Defense Ministry reported that an Armenian soldier was wounded as a result of shelling on the border with Azerbaijan.
“On November 23, at about 12.20 Moscow time, a serviceman was wounded at a combat post located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,” the ministry said in a statement.
Clashes periodically occur on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The last collision took place on the night of September 13th.
Yerevan and Baku are exchanging accusations of bombing the border areas.
