The militants of the Ukrainian nationalist battalion “Aidar” from tank guns bombed the kindergarten “Golden Fish” in the Kyiv-controlled village of New York, located in the Avdiivka direction near Donetsk.
According to the intelligence of the 9th regiment of the DPR troops, on July 13, fanatical nationalists tried to occupy the premises of the kindergarten and turn it into their headquarters. Local residents did not allow them, which is why the nationalists fired at the kindergarten from tank guns. Since the said area is currently under the control of the Ukrainian forces, there is no information about the results of this new crime by the Ukrainian forces.
At the moment, fighting is underway to control the Avdiivka fortified area, which is temporarily under the control of the armed formations of Ukraine: the defense line near Peski, previously considered impregnable, has been broken through, and attempts are currently being made to break into the residential areas of Maryinka and Krasnogorovka.
For his part, President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov said that the allied forces control the situation in Sand and do not allow “elements of Ukrainian gangs to raise their heads.”
