Annual inflation rates in Russia are declining

The inflation rate in Russia slowed down in annual terms to 13.49% on October 3 from 13.71% the previous week, according to the Ministry of Economic Development.

According to data provided by the ministry, “The week of September 27 to October 3, 2022 recorded a moderate price increase of 0.07% year on year, while inflation continued to slow down to 13.49% year on year. .”

According to the ministry, prices in the food sector rose by 0.15% with a seasonal increase in prices for fruits and vegetables, while the increase in prices for non-food products slowed down.

The Ministry of Economic Development added: “Prices for tourism and organizational services continue to decline (minus 0.1%), prices for air tickets for domestic flights and sanatorium services have decreased.”
