The Turkish capital Ankara hosted an official reception ceremony for Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Bishtepe Presidential Palace.
At the reception ceremony, the national anthems of Iraq and Turkey were played at the presidential palace, the Sudanese and President Erdogan lined up a guard of honor, saluted the flags of the two countries and fired twenty-one artillery shots, welcoming the delegation of guests.
After that, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a session of bilateral negotiations, which reviewed the general relations between the two countries in various fields, as well as the most important cases and issues of mutual interest.
