Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin confirmed that Ankara is ready for a new military operation in northern Syria and could start at any moment.
“We have carried out operations in northern Syria in the past, and then we were under pressure. But we proceeded only from our national interests. Our president has said very clearly that the operation can start at any moment. Kalin said.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said earlier that Turkish forces will launch an anti-terrorist operation on the country’s borders, and a decision on this matter will be made in the near future.
