Ancelotti receives a surprise from Brazilian Confederation President!

Ednaldo Rodriguez, president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, has confirmed his desire to sign Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti to coach the Brazilian national team soon.

Ancelotti, despite his long coaching career, has never coached the national team before and has recently been linked to coaching in Brazil, with his contract with Real Madrid running until the summer of 2024.

“I’m not saying that Ancelotti has received an offer from us, but we are checking if he wants to come,” Ednaldo Rodriguez told BN Sports.

He continued: “We thought of Carlo after all his accomplishments and his good reputation as a coach and player for Italy. He is an open and educated person who appreciates and loves Brazilian players and Brazilian football.”

He concluded: “We have a plan (A) and this is the first time I’m saying this frankly, there’s no point in hiding it. Ancelotti is our favorite and it doesn’t mean to underestimate any Brazilian coach, on the contrary, we have good coaches.”

It is noteworthy that Tite announced his resignation as coach of the Brazilian national team after being eliminated from the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup, and the technical management is temporarily headed by Ramon Menzies.
