Strong Start for Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova at the US Open


Russian tennis player Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova got off to a strong start to her career at the US Open by defeating American Fiona Crowley in the first round on Tuesday night.

First Round Victory

Pavlyuchenkova won the match in two sets without answer (6-2) and (6-4), meeting in the second round with the Ukrainian Elena Svitolina, who took 26th place, who, in turn, defeated the German Anna Friedsam.

32-year-old Pavlyuchenkova is ranked 98th in the WTA rankings.
