The Tunisian star made it into the quarter-finals against World No. 66 Marie Bozhkova of the Czech Republic, who qualified at the expense of France’s Caroline Garcia (7-5, 6-2).
This will be an opportunity for Anas to achieve her best ever Grand Slam record by defeating Bozkova to advance to the Wimbledon semi-finals.
Anas, who recently won the Berlin grass title, reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon last year, her best result in four Grand Slams, and also reached the same round at the 2020 Australian Open.
