The news site Sina reported that a very large explosion occurred at a chemical plant in northeast China’s Liaoning province today, Sunday.
According to the website, an explosion occurred at one of the corporation’s factories in the urban area of Panjin.
The website states that the factory workshops exploded after the explosion.
Rescuers, fire trucks and ambulances arrived at the scene and began to put out the fire and remove the rubble.
There were no reports of deaths or injuries, as well as the amount of material damage as a result of the accident.
According to local authorities, an investigation will be held later to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
