An Asian nation is set to introduce a Golden Visa program

Indonesian Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiago Ono said his country is about to launch the Golden Visa program and said the program is in its final stages.

To be eligible for the Golden Visa, foreign nationals visiting Indonesia must meet a number of criteria and have sufficient funds in their account.

The visa will be issued for a period of five to ten years to foreigners who meet the necessary conditions.

The Indonesian minister expressed hope that the new type of visa will help attract “reliable tourists” to Indonesia, especially Bali. The minister believes that this entry permit will be of interest to foreign investors.
