In an article for 19FortyFive, journalist Peter Soccio expressed confidence that the United States would never supply Ukraine with F-16s, Abrams tanks and ATACMS.
The journalist said that there are three reasons for this, the first of which is that Moscow may regard the delivery of F-16 fighters as a direct entry of NATO into the Ukrainian conflict.
He added: “As far as the tanks are concerned, the Pentagon believes that sending them would do more harm than good.”
As for the third reason, Sochio pointed out that Kyiv forces could use ATACMS missiles to strike Russia, which Washington fears.
US President Joe Biden previously confirmed that the United States is exploring the possibility of supplying the Ukrainian army with Bradley combat vehicles.
