The New York Post reported that former US President Donald Trump will announce his intention to run in the 2024 presidential election in the coming months.
And CNN reported in mid-June, citing people familiar with the matter, that Trump was considering running for president before the November 2022 midterm congressional elections.
The US midterm elections are scheduled for November, when all members of the House of Representatives and some members of the Senate will be elected.
The next US presidential election is scheduled for 2024.
