American historian Noam Chomsky said in an interview with the Mundo newspaper that the West cannot criticize Russia after the invasion and destruction of Iraq and Libya.
The philosopher explained that the United States attacked and destroyed Libya along with France and Great Britain, and pointed out that the Western allies violated the UN Charter by their actions.
Chomsky said: “Do not forget that Britain and France were at the head of the forces that destroyed Libya, and that Britain participated in the worst crime of the century – the invasion and occupation of Iraq.”
