President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the SCO will turn from a regional organization into a global one, the main thing is not to miss this moment.
This is stated in a statement at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held today in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, where he continued: “I have closely watched how the SCO fought for its regional leadership. Now the present moment has come, and the work of the organization, and current events around the world, confirm the fact that the world will not return to its previous state, and the eyes of progressive mankind are turned to our organization, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
“The most important thing is not to miss the moment when you need to give those countries, which are many, the opportunity to find an alternative to Western countries,” Lukashenka stressed.
The President of Belarus stressed: “In the current realities, our organization can become a global organization that solves global problems of the world order in modern conditions. We must keep up with this moment and adequately respond to it.”
