Al-Faisali officially withdraws from Al-Quds and Al-Karama championships, opts to return to Oman.

Jordanian Al-Faisaly football club announced that its delegation will return to the capital Amman tomorrow, Tuesday, after the unfortunate events that took place in its match against its rival Al-Wehdat at the opening of the Jerusalem and Dignity Championship.

Al Faisali Club stated through its official Twitter account: “As a result of the unfortunate events that accompanied our team’s match against Al Wehdat Club in the Jerusalem and Dignity competition organized by the Palestinian Football Association, our team left the stadium, to his place of residence in connection with preparations for tomorrow’s departure to Amman.

The match, which took place on Monday at the Faisal Al-Husseini Martyr Stadium in Jerusalem, was stopped in the 91st minute after the match referee ruled an error in favor of Al-Wehdat striker, Palestinian professional Zayed Al-Kanbar, as that the players objected to his decision before there was confusion between players and fans.

The match was not completed as the score was 1-1.
