The Novosti agency reported that high-ranking officials from the UAE offered Russia to mediate in the exchange of prisoners with Ukraine.
And the agency reported, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, that today, on Monday, “high-ranking representatives of the UAE, taking into account the current situation in Ukraine, turned to the Russian side with a proposal to assist in the exchange of captured detainees.”
The same sources indicated that the UAE proposals would be taken into account when preparing lists of prisoners of war with the Ukrainian side.
