After record inflation in Belarus… for the third month they record a decline

Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko said that the country’s economy has been experiencing a decrease in inflation for the third month.

“The decrease in inflation that we have long been striving for has finally been recorded, and this has happened over the past three months,” Golovchenko said live on the Belarus-1 TV channel.

Golovchenko said that in October 2022, the inflation rate in the country was minus 1 percent, and in November 2022 it reached minus 1.1 percent.

Prior to achieving these results, the inflation rate in our country exceeded 17 percent, and now the minister hopes that by the end of 2022, inflation will reach 12-13 percent, that is, he expects inflation to decrease by 4-5 percent only in the last four months of the year.
