African magic.. Manet on Senegal’s list for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar

Senegal coach Aliou Cisse has announced the final roster of Terang Lions who will take part in the 22nd FIFA World Cup, which will be held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, 2022.

Senegalese striker Sadio Mane has been named to the Teranga Lions squad for the World Cup final despite doubts over his recall due to a recent injury with his Bayern Munich squad.

Senegalese Fatma Samoura, secretary general of the International Football Association (FIFA), has thrown a massive surprise by announcing that a medicine man will be hired to prepare her compatriot Sadio Mane for the 2022 World Cup.

Fatima Samoura stated in an interview with Radio Europe 1: “I don’t know if the use of a medicine man under Mana will be effective or not, but we will resort to it in any case.”

And the FIFA official concluded his statements by saying: “We hope for a miracle … Sadio Mane should join the World Cup.”

The length of Mane’s absence from stadiums has not been determined, but manager Aliou Cisse is hopeful that his striker will recover for World Cup participation after the former Liverpool star was instrumental in her country’s qualification for the World Cup in Qatar, at the expense of her Egyptian colleagues led by his colleague Mohamed Salah, the star of Liverpool.

Below is Senegal’s squad for the 2022 World Cup:
