The Moroccan team booked the first card for the semi-finals of the African Handball Championship held in Egypt, beating their Guinean counterpart 28-24 in the quarter-finals on Friday.
With this result, the Moroccan team made history as it also secured qualification for the World Cup in its next edition, besides restoring the balance by beating Guinea, and reconciled its fans after a major defeat against the Egyptian team (21-36) in the last meeting in the group stage.
