AC Milan sign Florenzi permanently

Milan, the Italian league title holders, have decided to retain the services of their international defender Alessandro Florenzi, signing him permanently from Roma after playing them on loan last season.

Milan said in a statement that the 31-year-old had signed a contract with him until 2025.

Florenzi made 30 appearances for Milan in all competitions last season, including 24 in the league that the Rossoneri finished against neighbors Inter.

Florenzi started his career in the age groups of Rome, where he was born, and made his first team debut in 2011, playing 279 games in the Galurosi shirt, scoring 28 goals, perhaps the most prominent of which was a goal he scored from the midfield line against Barcelona in the Champions League in 2015.

Florenzi played his last match in the Roma shirt in January 2020 when his team lost to Juventus in the cup competition, after which he moved on loan to Valencia, Spain and then to Paris Saint-Germain, France for one season before arrival. in Milan.

Florenzi made 48 appearances for Italy, the last of which was in a goalless draw against England last June in the European Nations League.
