53 German Officers Injured during Violent Protests

53 law enforcement officers were injured in Germany during a protest against a regional conference of the right-wing opposition party Alternative for Germany (AfD) in Offenburg.

On Saturday, left-wing demonstrators started fights and used physical force against law enforcement officers during protests.

A police statement said 53 officers were kicked and kicked, while others had respiratory irritation due to the blazing flames and the use of fire extinguishers. Noting that as a result, 17 police officers can no longer serve.

According to the police, more than 20 cases have been opened on suspicion of disturbing public order, resisting law enforcement officers and causing bodily harm to them.
